Las Vegas is the gambling capital of the world and if you’re going to play the tables, here are our top-tips. Firstly, make sure you know what you’re doing. The easiest way to do this is to ‘trial’ play first. Most of the big casinos have tables where you can ask how the game actually works and try it out without placing any real money. Look out for the signs that say things like “ask me how to play” and don’t be scared to ask absolutely anything you want – after all, it’s your money they’re asking you to gamble with!
Some of the TV channels in the hotel rooms have demonstration games on them too, or you can play some online casino styled games in the comfort of your hotel room. This way you can get the hang of them before you enter the casinos and play for real. Secondly, set yourself a limit and stick to it – it’s really easy to get carried away if you don’t. Gambling should be fun, and if you stick to these basics, you can keep it that way.
